Deep work is a concept introduced by author and computer science professor Cal Newport in his 2016 book "Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World." The idea revolves around the practice of engaging in cognitively demanding tasks for extended periods of time with minimal distractions, allowing for maximum focus and productivity.
